Harley White

Vote Harley – Everyone deserves a voice at UCB
Hello, I’m Harley, and I come from a disadvantaged background. ‘Disadvantaged background’ – two words that have stopped thousands of students like you and me from having their voices heard or reaching the places they’ve wanted to go. But times are changing. After being the Widening Participation officer for the last few months, An opportunity like this would allow me to further support you and myself in our journeys to the places we aspire to go. Don’t let circumstances and situations prevent you from showing who you truly are, everyone deserves a voice at UCB.
If I was elected I would:
- Work with the full-time education and wellbeing officer to continue the effort to push UCB to provide adequate prayer spaces to all students.
- Continue to challenge UCB on the prices of meals and food. In an attempt to provide every UCB student with an adequate meal.
- I’d arrange sessions, to bring people together and harness the greatness of our large and diverse student body.
