Sustainability Reps

New for 2024, the Guild is is introducing Sustainability Reps and a University-wide Sustainability Champion to help lead our campaign for a sustainable future.

Through introducing this new system, we want to create a network of sustainability advocates who can share ideas, resources, and best practices. This network can facilitate collaboration and support across different areas of UCB , including faculties, senior management teams (SMT), the student body, and student support services, creating a connected community around sustainability where all stakeholders’ views are equally valuable.

Both the Sustainability Representatives and Champion will be responsible for coming up with sustainability initiatives, campaigns, and activities. We would like Sustainability Representatives to participate in events, workshops, and campaigns to raise awareness about environmental issues and sustainability initiatives. However, the main person to drive these initiatives forward will be the Sustainability Champion.
